Once your Buildertrend account has been linked to your The Home Depot Pro Xtra account, all online purchase receipts will automatically be synced with Buildertrend's Receipt capture tool, moving forward. This ensures all online receipts from The Home Depot will be accounted for within Buildertrend.
The Receipts tool functions with The Home Depot integration, but is a powerful feature on its own, as well.
From The Home Depot's website, navigate to Purchase History.
Within Purchase History, receipts can be added. This page will display all receipts, whether the purchase was made online, or added manually. Regardless, receipts that are recorded here will be synced with Buildertrend's Receipt capture tool. Items on the receipt will be available for import within your Cost Catalog, as well.
Please note: Only receipts that have been added on or after the day you have integrated your Buildertrend account with The Home Depot will be synced automatically.
The Receipts tool can be accessed from the Financial header.
The Receipts tool functions with The Home Depot integration by pulling purchase and item return receipts from The Home Depot's website. Receipts for online purchases, as well as receipts that have been manually added to The Home Depot will be synced with Buildertrend's Receipt capture tool.
Simply navigate to the Receipts tool and select the receipt. From here, you will be able to see receipt information, adjust the title, as well as add a description. Depending on the nature of the purchase; this also allows you to assign receipts to specific Cost Codes, Jobs and Sub/Vendor which can add an additional layer of organization.
There is a PDF of the receipt that is automatically added, as well. As with many other Buildertrend features; Comments can be added at the bottom to record any and all correspondence related to the receipt.
From here, you can now create a New Bill for this receipt.
