When adding a bank account to make a payment online you will have the option to set up a payment method for future use. You can set up your payment methods by navigating to Setup in the top right.
From here, add a payment method.
If you do not have a payment method already set up, clicking any pay online button will prompt you to set up up a new bank account. Follow the bank verification steps until you get to this screen:
If you do not choose to save your payment method, you will be required to verify your bank account every time you make a payment. This can be particularly problematic for ACH payments, which can require micro deposits to verify your bank account per payment unless saved for future use. For your convenience, choose to save the payment method for future use.
For the best experience for you and your contractor, we recommend setting up your payment method ahead of time rather than waiting until an invoice is ready to be paid.
