What are Cost Groups?

  • Cost Groups are a group of Cost Items from the Cost Catalog that are consistently used together when building estimates or proposals. By grouping catalog items together, you can import a single group or multiple groups into an estimate with pre-determined formatting as well as group prices. For example, builders will commonly set up Cost Groups for GE Appliances and Maytag Appliances. Within each group are the individual Cost Items that have been created when Setting Up Your Cost Catalog.
