Subcontractors will have the ability to view approved change orders from their sub portal for consistent communication regarding additional work.

To begin, select the correct job from your Jobs Menu. Next, click on Project Management and then select Change Orders.

Within the Change Order section you will have access to any Change Orders approved by the Customer or Builder.

Change Orders will have to be approved first to view from the sub portal.

To view the Change Order click on the Change Order number to access the details of the additional work.

Within the Change Order you can see the Approval signature, Notes from the Builder as well as the Change Order Description.

You will have the option to attach any Post-Approval documents or photos, Comment to the Builder, as well as submit an RFI for more information.

MOBILE:

Trades will have access to the same Change Order information from their mobile device utilizing the Buildertrend mobile app.

First, make sure you have the correct job selected from your list at the top.

Once the job is selected, click the More button.

From here, click Project Management, then Change Orders.

Click on the Change Order to view all details.

Once selected you can view any Scope of Work Description along with any Notes provided by the Builder.

The Builder or Customer Approval will be present as well.

Scroll down on the Change Order to view or add any Comments. You can also create an RFI by clicking the (+) for any additional information needed from the Builder.

To add to the Change Order, select the Edit button.

By clicking Add Attachment, you can provide any Photos or Documents in the Change Order for your Builder.

Once updated, click the Save button.
