Documenting every bit of outreach by creating activities is important to see how your sales team approaches each lead. This can help you establish a more formalized sales process based on successes and failures.

Start by navigating to the Lead Opportunities tab within the Sales header.

Select the lead you would like to create an activity for.

Navigate to the Activities tab.

To the right, you can select if you would like to Log a Completed Activity, or Schedule a New Activity to happen in the future. Both allow you record what activities occurred with the lead.

When creating an activity, you can fill out a wide variety of data points to capture all desired information.

Click Save in the top left to save the activity.
