The Schedule feature on the Buildertrend mobile app helps keep your projects on track from anywhere. You can add new tasks, adjust timelines, and instantly share updates with your team or subs.
With multiple viewing options, it's easy to monitor progress, prioritize tasks, and quickly respond to any delays, streamlining project management and improving communication across the board.

Navigating to the Schedule
Start by choosing a job from your Jobs List. Once selected, tap Schedule at the bottom of the screen to access that project's schedule.
Note: If you do not select a specific job from the Jobs List before opening the Schedule, you’ll see schedule items from all your active jobs.
Schedule Views
By default, the schedule opens in the Agenda view. You can switch between additional views (Month, List, or Gantt) by using the tabs at the top for a different perspective on your project timeline.

Adding new Schedule Items
To add a new schedule item, tap the + icon, enter the necessary details, and tap Save when you're finished.
Schedule fields
Title – Give the Schedule Item a clear name for quick identification.
Assigned To – Select the user(s) responsible for completing the task.
Progress – Track the percentage of task completion to monitor progress.
Hourly – Toggle this on if you want to set task timing down to the hour instead of full days.
Start Date – The date the task is scheduled to begin.
Duration (# of Workdays) – The number of workdays allotted for the task.
End Date – Automatically calculated based on the start date and duration; can also be edited manually.
Reminder – Set a notification to alert assigned users prior to the start of the task.
Display Color – Choose a color for the task to visually organize the schedule on the Gantt view.
Phase – Associate the item with a specific project phase for better structure.
Notes – Add relevant details or instructions for the task.
All Notes: Notes visible to the internal team, subs/vendors, and clients.
Internal Notes: Notes visible to the internal team only.
Sub Notes: Notes visible to the internal team and subs/vendors.
Client Notes: Notes visible to the internal team and clients.
Attachments – Take photos or upload supporting files or documents related to the task.
Predecessors/Links – Link tasks to establish dependencies and sequence.

Tags – Add custom labels to help filter and categorize schedule items.
Show on Gantt – Enable to include the item on the Gantt view.
Show Subs/Vendors – Allow addition subs/vendors that aren't assigned to view this schedule item.
Show Client – Enable to make the item visible to your client.
View/Edit existing Schedule Items
To view and modify an existing schedule item, tap on the item, then select Edit to make your changes.
Related Items & Comments
Beyond adding and editing schedule items, you can also create Related Items (RFIs and To-Do's) directly from the schedule item, mark the task as complete, as well as leave comments to keep your team informed.
